The Mission House is where the heart of Imani beats loudest. Children come from difficult homes to eat, study, pray, and grow together, one family under one roof in Jinja.
More than four walls
Step inside and you will find children sitting together, eating together, praying together, and growing together. Some arrive from difficult homes and hard circumstances; all of them arrive to a family. This is a place where no child feels forgotten.

From morning devotions to shared evening meals, this is the rhythm that turns a building into a family.
Shared meals
Children eat together around one table. For many, it is the most reliable meal of their day.
Study & tutoring
Evening and holiday study sessions where students receive personal attention and help with schoolwork.
Devotions & prayer
Days begin and end in the Word. Bible study and prayer are the heartbeat of the home.
Counseling & mentorship
A safe place to talk. Mentors walk with each child through the challenges of life beyond the field and classroom.
Play & rest
After practice and studies, the house fills with games, laughter, and room to simply be a child.
Family & belonging
More than a building: one family joined together, where every child is valued, supported, and protected.

Children gather at the Mission House to share meals, study the Bible, play together, and simply experience community. For many of them, it is a space away from difficult home environments, a place where they feel safe, seen, and loved.
Children from the Masese/Danida community in Jinja. Many come from homes affected by poverty, absent parents, or instability. The Mission House gives them a consistent, faith-filled environment where they can thrive.
Children gather to read Scripture, share reflections, and pray together. They learn to live alongside others, to share, to forgive, and to love. They also play together, eat together, and simply experience what it feels like to belong somewhere.
The Mission House is the home base for everything Imani does. Bible study happens here. Tutoring and mentorship happen here. It is where relationships are built and where children are prepared spiritually, emotionally, and academically for life.
