A Tournament Filled with Expectation
This year’s Under 12 Baseball and Softball May Tournament came with high expectations for both our teams at IMANI Baseball Ministry.Last year, our baseball team made it all the way to the finals but unfortunately fell short. Coming into this year’s tournament, the players were determined to go even further and bring home the championship.Although the journey ended in the semifinals this time, the team displayed tremendous effort, discipline, and growth throughout the tournament. While we were disappointed with the result, we are proud of the commitment and resilience shown by every player.
A Big Step Forward for Our Girls’ Softball Team
One of the biggest highlights of this tournament was the performance of our Under 12 girls’ softball team.In previous years, the girls often finished among the last teams in the competition. This year, however, they showed incredible improvement, confidence, and teamwork.Reaching the semifinals was a major achievement for the team and a clear sign of growth and progress. Their tournament run ended after facing one of the strongest teams in the competition, but the girls fought hard and represented IMANI with determination and courage.Their performance gave us hope and excitement for what lies ahead.
